![]() Just put a cocktail shrimp on a clip in our freshwater tank.
It was really neat to watch all the fish tear it apart, especially because our tank is so diverse, and all the fish have a pecking order so to speak. One of the convicts and the ghost knife were the ones that finally ended up tearing it in half. anyone else do this??

![]() I use raw shrimps and my fish goes crazy...puffers, bichirs, and SA/CA cichlids, and especially the clown loaches.

![]() will have to try with raw shrimp.
my husband is a shrimp maniac so we usually have raw prawns but cocktail shrimp were on sale this time! yeah, our cichlids loooooved it! Do you put it on a clip as well?

![]() no...just chopped them up and drop it in the tank. I used to have some smaller puffers (c. irrubesco) and there were 6 of them. I tied the shrimp to a piece of styro and fishing line and let it float around while the puffers give chase.
