![]() I am doing the exact same things, thanks for the 15ml tip going to try that, but i think i'm going to junk this and go with either the profilux or a calc reactor, I'm a lil iffy about a calc reactor cuz it seems complicated and seems like there would be a lot of fiddiling, what made you decide to go calc reactor route? i figure both 2 part dosing with a a good pump and a calc reactor are both roughly the same price with obviously upkeep cheaper on calc reactor.

![]() I was looking for a new toy I'm kinda a tecnoweenie , I bought a reefkeeper 2 to control it and It really is quite simple. Co2 lowers ph in reactor making it acidic dissolving media, dripping rate and co2 adjusted to desired cal an alk. The regulator on a solenoid stops co2 with ph prob hooked to the reefkeeper . If ph drops to low reefkeeper cuts co2. hmm. I guess this may start to sound complicated but with every thing in this hobby research is a must. So far very happy, unit is dialed in and we'll have to see how it goes. I did have some bad alk swings with the 2 part and the doser. I haven't seen any problems yet with the switch.
