Yeah you know I am very pleased with them.

It was important to me to get little to no light spilling into the room. There is only a little that spills out from the sides. Nothing bad at all though.

They are very much like spotlights. Although I still think the coverage is great. Some of the other similar reflectors do have a wider coverage for sure but the penetration of the Lumenbrights is great. My tank is only 22" tall but I would imagine on a 30" tall tank, these things would still rock.

For most people, 3 reflectors would be needed for a tank this size but I prefer the look of them fading away at the edges. I am filling those ends of the tank with all kind of softies. So far I have quite a few leathers and mushrooms over there.

Really want this to be a very, very diverse and mixed reef.

I wanted the kole too! But I guess you pm'd first. Tanks looks great, and glad to see them all getting along. Is the tusk fitting in now?

Yeah the tusk is fine now. He gets chased once in a while by the Hippo but nothing bad. The tusk tail is a little nipped up still though.

I think I have been lucky so far not go get any real aggression issues.

The one thing I am maybe concerned about is the tank size for the Powder Brown. Hes fine now but if gets big and is still this active, I don't know...

Actually let me answer that again...

He has eaten about 12-15 hermits this morning. He finally figured out how to get them out of their shell. I also see quite a few snail shells empty

He also decided to take a nip at a clam...he liked it! What a surprise. So he is slowly eating both clams now.

All this in one morning! Hahahaha...what a little brat. I guess he is hungry!

Doesn't change anything though, he is staying.

Ha Ha! Little bugger eh? That's why my hermits are in the sump. So far he's left the snails alone although that may be because they are large Turbos. Does yours like to hang out in a high flow area and just sort of hover in the current? Mine also hangs out with the Foxface quite a bit.

Yes he loves flow!

He is a little bugger though. He leaves big snails alone. I am going to have to rethink my clean up crew now. He actually leaves the larger hermits alone too but I doubt that will last.

I think I will add some smaller fish that hopefully will clean up what the other don't eat. The two damsels are good for that.

I will also pick up some more larger snails I think.

Any clean up crew ideas?

Not really. I've just got the 12 Chromis who do a good job of picking off all the small pieces. And the large Turbos. I've got 2 peppermints and 4 hermits in the sump. A large Coral-Banded Shrimp might be OK, not sure.
