I've had a psychedelic fish now for two years in my reef system. Lots of natural food for him to eat. He has now been missing for a week. Anybody ever had this happen. I worry he got killed by a rock crab that I can't find. Is this possible? And where is his body?

Did you recently add a new fish that would compete with its food source?

I didn't add any new fish. But I do have anenomes and some mushrooms....lots of copepods everywhere. I'm sure i would have seen some of his body, if the nems or mush ate him. He's in a 65 so i dunno...

depending on the size of the nems or if you have a rhodactis mushroom, you might never see a body.
Nems are a natural predator for these fish. |

When I lose a fish it is very rare that I find a corpse. Typically my CUC strips them bare.
