60gal (48x16x18)

2 x Tunze nanostream 6055 at 60% (so about 1744GPH)
2x return at about 400GPH each

So right now about 2544GPH right now 42 x turnover

probably will turn them up a bit down the road

The other day I decided this was too much flow as I watched my m. digitatas grow downwards and most of my SPS do minimal branching and only encrust. So I unhooked the 2 x Tunze Nanostreams and am just running the return and MP20. Perhaps I'm delusional but I've noticed more branching and, coupled with more actinic and less white lighting, increased coralline algae growth.
Not delusional at all...I have noticed the exact same thing many times. I bought a nice sized colony of a green acro a few months back. Decided I really like it and so I fragged it a few times to put in different spots in the tank (the tank has years to go before its grown in anyways, so fragging colonies is not a big deal). I have noticed that two of the pieces I put in very high flow have only encrusted while the piece I put in a very, very low flow area is growing like a weed, straight up. The one growing the fastest gets just random flow from different directions because its right in an area where flow from both sides of the tank meet. Says a lot about flow...less but more random has been very good for this acro. Same thing with the digis I have all over the tank. Ones in low flow grow much faster and higher while the ones in high flow grow thicker and diagonally almost.

90 gallon future mixed tank
Koralia 4, 2x koralia 3, Quietone 4000HH Return with approx 5ft of headloss.

So figure 3750 gph = 41x/hour

Wow, I'm apparently inadequate in flow compared to you guys........
15gal breeder style
~700gph flow

47x turnover on 15 full gallons......I have 17lbs rock and 30lbs deep sand bed so probably closer to 12gal water volume, which is 58x turnover.....

Nothing wrong with that if you are keeping SPS... probably a bit much for LPS/softies though... (58x)
