![]() Yup, the Hydors. I've also seen one in an LFS display that was turning slowly and erratically. Just a matter of time for that one, IMO. Maybe others have had success with them, but not me. I chucked both my Hydors in the garbage.

I was surprised to read it so I thought I'd share my experience as it was pretty much the exact opposite. gotta love diversity. |

![]() I ran a couple of hydor rotating thingys for about a year with no problems. Then things started going south pretty quickly with them and they stopped rotating no matter what I did. It seems that the rotating mechanism, which involves a lot of little plastic gears, has some pretty tight tolerances and if something is out by just a little bit as the result of wear the whole thing stops.
