Aw man that sucks, I don't think there's anything you can do but wait it out unfortunately.
I recently lost a GSP I'd had for 12 years, he just couldn't feed right any more. I was surprised how bummed I was, I see hundreds of fish every week but there is something about puffers that makes them more "pets" than fish. Hope it works out.
