Mike, just buy a GB of RAM, Win2k isn't the right solution here. It's a lot of work, drivers may be hard to find, especially if you dont' have a NIC driver locally, and as mentioned, security isn't what it could be. It's an unsupported product, new patches will not be available, and with the price or RAM, you're just better off all ways around going that route.

hmmmmmmmmmmmm but will a GB of ram work on this lap top some laptops you can only get some much ram thou in them.
just remember here its 9 years old now the laptop

ok all i can get in there is 384 mb 2 slots the basic is 64/128
