thanks for your time jsut flowing some extra funds around will get back to you soon ..

thanks Mike

so in your honest opinion this system is far alot easier then dialing in a reactor then.
with a reactor you have to dial up and turn up CO2 and slow down the bubble count.

with a dosing pumps you have to measure what your tank is consuming and then apply those measurements to the dosing pump right. now that sounds alot easier.

Now I have a tank that is 150 gallons and a 33 gal sump total I would say
minus the rock and sand, The tank 135 and the sump is 20 so 150 gal total then how long would these 3 x 1KG jugs last. I guess its goign to depend on the dissolved supplements that is using then.

Hiya

Once you get an idea of your tanks draw on the supplements the testing only has to be once every 14 days really, wher as a calcium reactor and I say this with experience with various ones is a constant co2 battle.

In regards to the salts and how long they will last, this is the most popular and natural question to ask, and I wish there was a fixed answer, but sadly there is not, as I said on RC last night to this, Corals are living things, and just like anything living they all have their own nutritional requirements, there is just no way of even giving a ball park figure, I really wish i could but with tanks, everyones inhabitants are different and the corals will decide for themselves how greedy they wish to be.

Having said that after two to three months you will get a fair understanding of how your corals react and what demand they are asking of you.

Just back from pre natal so going offline now will catch up with any updates in the morning

Cheers guys
