How old is the impeller on it? Mine was performing poorly and loud.....so I got a new one from J&L and it works soooo well now, and it's quiet! They do get damaged easily....worth a try!

check your airline if this model of ER has one...
when they gt clogged, they can be very loud and cause more vibration than normal.
