![]() i have moved my plate coral and ripped it a few times, and when my conch gets too close he can rip it. but i find if you feed it a lots afterward it will recover. mines never been that bad, seems like the skeleton is showing from all sides. looks like whats called a "bail out" for certain types of corals, usually caused by a last ditch effort to get away from unhealthy water conditions. i'm not sure if plates do that or not thought. whats your water like and have you been feeding it?
