My tube anenome ate 3 fish n a week before I could actually get home to get him out of there.....he now has his own tank c/w 3 chocolate chips and a gorilla crab.... this tank is also my dead fish receptacle....thankfully it doesnt get used to much for that...

i can't believe a tube anemone eat your dwaft lionfish, sorry for your lost, i love lionfih fish so beautiful! i used to have a dwarf one years ago and i loved it.

^^ Good read. Interesting that although they should be mainly filter feeders, many here seem to have experiences where they ate fish. I wonder if they are simply not getting what they need from these tanks and take the opportunity to eat a fish that happens to rest on them?

I only have about 5 minutes experience keeping a tube anenome because I tried one in with my puffers, so I don't know anything about them really except they look cool.

i feed my tube anenome every day brime &mysis..i dont understand the urban myth thing when i seen half of my lion fish in my tube anenome...
