Tank build round 3? 20H with 10g Sump

I picked up some acrylic and the rest of my plumbing parts last week and got started on finishing my overflow and plumbing the sump. For the overflow I went with a stockman standpipe and a gate valve and its silent!! I might up the retun pump to a mag 3 but a little longer dwell time in the sump can only be good for the tank.The tank is turning out how i pictured it, all the plumbing thru the bottom, very close to the wall and all self contained. Im just looking for some live rock now to get the ball rolling.

Looks good so far. This may be a bit off topic but is the outside of your stand real stone? That must be a bit heavy

Nope, its Urethane, pretty light and tuff, actually the stand fell down a dirt hill when i was moving it from Kelowna and stood up pretty well.

I found some Vanatu live rock at Big Al's in Burnaby of all places. Nice stuff fully cured, i'm not expecting much of a cycle. Here's the initial Aquascape, i may change my mind but i like it so far.

Is the stand vented at all for humidity??? Just a thought as we all know how wet the environment inside the stand is! The tank and stand are gorgeous though...very nice work....so you wanna come build me a stand and cap for my 10g tank for the build off??? (please????)

Has anyone else experienced this? I have a pair of clowns and a carpet anemone, I also have a tiny foxface that thinks hes a clown too. The clowns don't seem to mind, but he gets within millimeters of touching the carpet. (BTW this isn't the 20g no flaming)
