![]() Yes, chiseling a small lr base for the toadstool is the least invasive method of separation. However, worse comes to worse, it is easy to cut the toadstool off and the new owner can stick the cut end into a hole in their LR and within a couple of weeks, it should start to root in.

![]() ^what Anthony said! I've done it many times with mine just use sharp scissors deflate the water out of them (looks like a dried mushroom) then snip off. Then shove the foot into a hole in the lr it will expand and attach. The first time I saw it done I thought dang that thing is a gonner but they are really hardy, as for the clam I would definately sell it with the lr.
