Default RO faucet adapter

Hey guys,

I just got my RO/DI unit in. I ordered it with the faucet adapter, so that I wouldn't have to drill into my plumbing, but I can't seem to get it to work. It looks like it is supposed to screw into the sink faucet, however, all of my sinks are un-threaded, so it cannot screw into them. Is there any way I can get this to work?

Here is a pic of the adapter:

I bought an adapter from home depot. One part has a fine thread(screws into faucet) Other has threading that fits with the r/o adapter. Cost about $4. Heres some pics.

The adapter:

You have to unscrew your faucet aerator first.

I did this, it still does not fit inside. I will try the adapter from Home Depot. Thanks
