That would be a mangrove. Most people use Chaetomorpha in their sumps. You could probably get a chunk from some locals, or even some of the stores. Cheap cheap, and efficient at exporting nutrients.

Do you think the 4100K bulb I have in there is sufficient? I just got it from Wal Mart. Its a T2 Cool White. I also have some of the daylight ones around too i think. They might be a higher color.
