![]() Quick question...
Will Auriga's munch on SPS, LPS & small inverts (such as Sexy Shrimp, Pom Pom crabs, Acro Crabs, hermits, snails etc.)? Would love to add one to my tank once I upgrade from my 34g but also want to migrate my corals & inverts over. . |

![]() Thanks Lance. Sorry I missed your reply until now...
I'll probably chance it if they don't eat my sexy shrimp but I don't mind if they chew on LPS or feather dusters. Clam mantles & SPS are another matter. Does anyone know if they do? . |

![]() Thanks Darryl.
I was hoping to keep one in a similar set up to your predator set up when I finally get my bigger tank. Just wondering if it'll be ok to migrate my SPS & inverts over so I don't have to run 2 tanks. Quote from link... "The Auriga Butterflyfish diet primarily consists of coral polyps, crustaceans, and algae in the wild. In an aquarium, frozen and freeze-dried diets containing algae are good substitutes and can be supplemented with asparagus, broccoli, and some dried algae." Doesn't say what kind of coral polyps or crustaceans so I guess I should they'll eat most of them. oh well! FOWLR here we come ![]() . |
