![]() I ordered the exact same unit and in the instructions they send you via email it states that the unit may leak. They do not leak test them before sending them out. You can use teflon tape, but they suggest in the instructions not to use it. Just read your instructions over again and it states how to fix the leaks.

![]() I have the same unit and never had a leak problem with it. Mind you all the JG fittings have a lot of teflon tape on them.
Maybe the design has changed J |

![]() For some reason my DI has started leaking at the cap. I'm going to try some teflon tape or plumbers putty to see if I can stop it.

![]() The new ones use o-rings but they always leak, just use a whole whack of Teflon and you'll be good, just don't crack the fittings, I think that's the reasoning for the change.
