![]() I got a 60g 36x16x24 with 60% sps (mostly montiporas) and 40% lps, i was wondering what would be the best for the tank:
2x 175w xm 20k or 2x 250w xm 20k? The hood is the same price for both! Thanks for your advice! -Jake

![]() If I read your question right, your tank is 24" deep...then the lights should be the 250W as 175 may not give you good coverage all the way to the bottom.

![]() Go with the dual 175W MHs and use either the Iwasaki 15K bulb if on an electronic ballast or the AB 13K bulb if using a magnetic ballast. Put your SPS up top and the LPS down low.
Both the respective setups will provide as much if not more PAR/PPFD than an 250W XM 20k bulb.
