Holy crap. That must be one stupid fish.. I can see being eaten by a carpet of a ritteri but aptasia?

WOW. i just got rid of 2 aptaisia that big yesterday. glad i did now. ones already coming back thou.

that's terrible - i'm just wondering, did the aptasia actually kill the fish, or was the fish already dead and the aptasia was feeding on it as it floated by?? Did you have any problems with an aptasia outbreak because i started off with 1 and they started to spread quite rapidly and I tried different methods of getting rid of them. Either way, i didn't realize that an aptasia could kill a fish - quite interesting.....

Do you guys use kalkwasser in a paste, or Joe's Juice?

the little ones i let pass once in a while but those big ones are just menaces. never in heck did i think it could possible kill a fish, just insaneand evil at that

I think most anemones will eat a fish it it wanders by...they are oportunistic feeders. I'm not sure on all of them, but most are.

i use joes it can be a pain but in two blasts all is usually gone.

I have had no luck with joe's juice I use kalkwasser in a paste
