![]() Here's one I built before moving. Those dividers are UG filter plates.
![]() This is it in use. Pic was taken after it was set up. (So clean!). Have Chaeto in it now. ![]() HTH.

![]() Try Melevs. He has probably made more sumps then just about anyone I know. His site has a ton of good ideas.

![]() Thanks for the pics everyone! Ya, I've already checked out Melev's. My idea is a bit abstract, and I haven't seen it done like I am thinking. Maybe I'll just wing it and see how it works.

![]() Ya, thanks! I got them. My idea is kinda like your idea, but I want the refugium to overflow into the sump instead of being pumped in hopes that more pods would make the trip back up to the display...not sure they'll survive the Poseidon return pump though!

![]() My design does allow the refugium to overflow into the sump (no pump required). I have a feeling that some of the pods do survive the trip up as my mandarin hangs out right by the return pump outlet most of the day (I use a Poseidon as well). I have seen some designs that incorporates a 5-10 gallon fuge above the main tank so that the pods don't have to go through a pump on the way to the display tank. My understanding is the above the tank fuge just needs to be slightly higher than the DT for it to work.
