![]() i tried one of the bio cube skimmers and thought it was junk
it might work better for an accual bio cube but on just a normal tank i couldn't seam to adjust it easy enough and the suckers to hold it in place didnt stick well at all ended up fishing outa my tank so i took it back for credit |

![]() Hey Oilfieldsafety
What did you decide on a skimmer? I think I'm just going to build a Sapphire looking skimmer. Hopefully I get around to it this weekend. I started playing around with a powerhead last night trying to get adequate bubble production but didn't have much luck. Going to try hooking an airpump to it and see if that works better. If the air pump works I'll build the unit tonight, hopefully. |

![]() I ended up putting in a Bio Cube skimmer. It is a little finicky for water level in the tank, but is pulling fairly well considering the short contact time in the reaction tube.

![]() When you say finicky, what do you mean? Does it just stop producing or does it just get really wet skimmate?
