I have a 2 x 2 cube. I really wasn't going to setup this tank because I will be moving to Blackfalds (in Red Deer right now) but couldn't help my self. This tank has been running for maybe over a month.

This is my tank so far, no aquascaping. I was supposed to just leave the rocks underwater until the move.

Is that a regular fish-store molly? I knew they were brackish.... but I had no idea they could be in salt water.

Just beacuse they can does not mean it is good for them

I could pull you up a nasty thread with a kid that slowly acclimated his SA cichlids to brakish water, and at the same time acclimated some damsels to brakish as well. Then, he put them all in the same brakish tank. Several types of fish that were not meant to live in brakish, but there he did it. It was not responsible, and he had no care for the needs of the fish.

Mollies are different, they can be brakish, but I would not keep them in normal saline ocean water.

P.S. If anybody has any info on the detrimental effect of sw to mollies. Please forward or post here so that I can remove the mollie asap. As for now...he is strong fat and a little pig.
