skimmer question

There's plenty of bubbles on the riser tubes but only roughly halfway up the collection cup. The scum that is collected during the first day is pretty dark in color.

If it's dark, then you're in good shape. Keep emptying the cup.

It skims well only during the first day after I clean the collection cup then the skimming slows dramatically.

Finicky neck

How well do you scrub out the neck when you clean the skimmer? I just lightly brush the much out of the neck under running water with my fingers.

Thanks for the reply ALbert. I guess I'm going to have to fiddle with it everyday...or buy myself another skimmer.
