![]() I'm being lazy and not trying to find this in a book: How far away can Acanths sting other corals / invertebrates? I'm wondering how close I could put them to a clam.

![]() Acanths, IME, can reach up to two inches if assisted by current. This usually occurs during twilight hours.
I wouldn't be too concerned about the clam. Clams are easy to move. Corals cement themselves, then you're pretty much out of luck.
