bloated and slow...i really don't need all the "bling", rather an OS that just WORKS!

Vista is sooo crappy, it wont even let me install XP. Backed up all my files today, then tried to install XP, like I have done on other comps, but it appears that the install option is "not allowed" Funny, can fresh install XP over ANY other OS, but not Vista..... And this is a laptop, so I cant FDISK and run in DOS

The XP install won't run from within Vista because Vista is a newer operating system.


Boot off the xp cd, format the drive, install xp.
