Thanks for the very speedy reply...

As I'm after the best option it looks like the EVG-AP cards are the way to go. From my own internet searches I believe these cards each connect to 2 ballasts so, please correct me if I'm wrong, I'll need 2 EVG-AP's for a 8 x T5 unit as I believe each ballast runs 2 x T5's. So that I will then be able to run 4 separately dimmable circuits....
