Default urchin

-any1 ever see an urchin disperse a thick white liquid when stressed?
and does it cause any bad effect on other live stock, cuz when we were
setting up steva44's 110-gallon a couple days ago one of the urchins wou-
ldn't stop releasing this liquid.

It's actually sperm and it can be triggered by a sudden change like a water change or temperature change. If one starts they all do it. It's great for the filter feeders.

The skimmer your debating on running or not, would definetely help with situations like that.

I agree, they are releasing sperm. If you have more than one, they all should do it. I tried taking pictures when it happened in my tank without any success.
