It seems to have reasonable polyp extension so probably not.

Ah red bugs, the worst thing that has ever happened to me in the hobby.

That is a pretty piece Christy!

Thanks for the photo Marie, your brain is really pretty.

Dave, I ended up removing all the rock as I was moving the tank anyways. It had gotten to the point where it was eating anything resembling a soft coral as well as stealing all of my unmounted frags to tuck into its fortress (I pulled out several pieces). I ended up moving all of my ricordea and zoos to another tank in order to save them as it was mowing them down at an alarming rate. I knew it was something large as it was actually moving bali plugs from one side of the tank to the other (and those are pretty large and heavy IMO). Other than physically removing it, I have no idea how to get it out. Perhaps some tasty zoos in a pop bottle??

Greg, I treated for red bugs a couple months ago and they had better not be back. I do have stray mucous strands from various vermetid snails in the tank. Lets pretend thats what it is until I can get home to have a good look at the tank on Friday (and it had better not be a scratch in the glass!!)

Thanks for the compliments Catherine. I was actually surprised the camera got the color on this one. Seems I either get the color right or its in focus. This time it was color

Thanks, do you recognize the loisetteae? I got it from you a while back. The pink one is a Poccilapora..it's blunt and fuzzy

Well I stand corrected. From the picture it looked to me like a blunt tipped birdsnest. Although in my defence both are in the pocilloporidea family.
