![]() About 2 weeks ago I came home to find one of my hermit crabs making a pilgrimage across my living room carpet. Looks much like one of the 'dwarf zebra' crabs that Steve was asking about awhile back; I only have one of these types of crabs in my tank.
I thought it was a random incident but yesterday my girlfriend found him on another walkabout. Has anyone else ever had hermits that climb out of their tanks? Thoughts on how he got out? I can only think of 2 ways that he got out. Either he managed to climb the glass heater that is at a 45 degree angle or else he managed to scale the coralline on the back of the 90 gal tank. Ron |

![]() If I had any crabs that wanted to leave home, I would be happy to open the door for them, so they could leave.
