I used a product around 5 years ago that worked great.I used it in a fish only tank but was supposed to be reef safe as well.The active ingrediant was silver colloid.I bought it through a American fish magazine.It was made in Germany.The cyno dissapeared overnight in my tank.Maybe you could find out if silver colloid is reef safe .It is a antibiotic
