how to get pics on thread?

I know it has been asked a million times so here is 1 million and 1 .how do you get pics to show up on threads from your computer?

I upload my pics to a hosting site like photobucket then copy and paste them to my post. Hope I'm allowed to name other sites

I do the same. Its easier and you don't have to worry about going over your limit (although I'm not sure what the limit is over there).
