i mounted my external viewer for the profilux tonight. last update for awhile.

Have you seen the trim that Marc has around his view module ,looks awesome.
I think be pretty easy to do & will look great.Of course we be stealling Marc's Idea but It wouldn't be the first time @ least not for me .

marc's trim looks awesome but i'm not good at wood working like him. i was trying to think of something cool to case this viewer in but no ideas so far. i guess the only i could do is copy marcs idea. wouldnt be the first for me either. he is 'guru' when it comes to this stuff

There are many obtions ,plastic ,or wood
check home depot ,they have tons of differnt obtions for this

Good Stuff! I love the way you mount your prolifux in your sump! Love the fans you bought for your sump, i will considered the 5 fans version for my tank so i am very happy to know that those fans are quiet! Have you ever seen and heard an Icecap fan? How does it compare?

i have seen the icecap fans, never hear them personally but heard they are quiet as well. i went with this setup initially because it can be controlled by the profilux but after seeing it in use i highly recommend it for efficiency and noise

these are my first ever top down pictures. they are a little underexposed because i'm getting used to my camera. in addition i just found my whipfin wrasse that i lost, he is in my overflow. dont have a clue how to catch him. excuse the algae as well, then tank is still maturing.
