looking for the quietest pump

I currently have a mak 4 on a closed loop with a scwd and it is too loud. Thia tank is in my living room and I need a Silent pump. What would be the quietest pump I can get with about the same flow as the mak 4. Thanks

for closed loop the sequence Dart does a good job and is quiet. It's not pressure rated as much as the Mak4. But you dont need that for closed loop.

how do you plumb a beast like that? Don't they have 2" fittings?

The Poseidon pumps are silent as well. The ps4 has 1 inch barb fittings. I use a ps4 as a return pump and a ps3 on a CL. They do run a little on the hot side but cooler than the iwaki rxlt30 I was running. That sucker could cook bacon!

Agreed I have three posidon PS4 pumps on my tank and they are absolutly quite!!!

We carry many different brand of pumps & RED DRAGON is by far the quietest pump ,it is dead silent ,a bit pricey but very low in electricity consumption as well.
