![]() The skimmer is currently powered by a 700 gph pump (that came with the skimmer)
I was going to get rid of the downdraft portion all together and use a venturi to draw air in to the pump and froth it up back in to the skimmer. I was either going to provide flow to the pump intake (similar to the turbofloater, or I was just going to inject it in to the box (no downdraft) I guess another mod Idea may be to drop a Maxijet in to the box and let it rip......Hmmmmm any thoughts on this? ![]() ASM has a simple re-circ mod, imagine you could do similiar; keep the orginal 700gpm on the skimmer (for re-circ) and use a smaller pump like a MJ1200 for feed, to allow more dwell time.
