I don't know on this one - eric borneman oversaw the study... If you read up on the details, I'd be pretty surprised if the results were skewed to prop up one, or discredit another. Lets face it reefers did this study, not manufacturers.

However, it's starting to look like this is an overall rating, depending on what you were growing/keeping - it may have done better or worse than another salt.
