My Emperor needs food

Thanks for the info. I haven't picked up any pellets yet but I will try to two types that have been offered as suggestions. Hopefully the rest of the gang will like them as well.

When you start feeding pellets take it very slow. It takes a while for the fish accept the pellets in their mouth. I only feed 6 to 8 large pellets to my large angel once a day. I feed a small pinch of small pellets to the others dropping 10 or 12 at a time, twice a day as the antheas require more frequent feeds.

Update!

My Emperor now will take mysis and krill in addition to the NLS pellets! yay! His colour change is accelerating by the day (juvy to adult).

Good to hear. I'm glad things have worked out for you & your Emperor angel. Mysis & NLS pellets is what I mainly feed my marine fish & if it was for fish like my seahorses, I would probably go with straight pellets for a while, to see how they thrive on it. Much easier & less mess, but I've always fed my fish a variety of foods, rather than just one.

Where can I pick up NL pellets in the Lower Mainland? I'll phone OA and hopefully they sell them there.

Arrrrrgh! Now my Red Sea Sailfin isn't eating!!!! Everyone else is fine so hopefully he is just being silly.
