Yeah, well... if you really want to feel old, here's a thought for you:

For the people graduating from high school right now, Wayne Gretzky "never" played for the Oilers.

Some people (Edmontonians ???) still refuse to accept that he doesn't.

Stuck my head into Red Coral this afternoon (It's tucked away in the mall farthest from northland drive, behind mack's & petro canada) Basically turn at 52nd, and turn into the farthest parking lot... You'll see it in the corner of the building.

They've got some really nice hawaiian fish in. Some really nice wrasses, angels, and dottybacks - the steini's were awesome.

took my son on a Sunday LFS tour... sort of...

Ocean City - sign on door reads "back in 1 hour" - to me that translates to "see you next year"

Fishes' Graveyard - reminds me how I never want to go back in there

Red Coral - our NW version of Gold is closed Sundays- can't wait to support that little shop tho

What is Fishes' Graveyard? Wai's?

Every fish I have ever bought from Wai's died. Their tanks are like these ultra clean rooms of death. (Perhaps it's his smoking ) Soon after I discovered Gold's and all has been well.

Last month I was taking my son on a Fish Store tour and I decided to stop by WAI's just to see if things had changed. They had not, but in a corner at the back of the store was this poor Purple Tang with BAD HLLE. (All of his tangs have HLLE, this one was the worst though.) Even my little guy said he was sad for it

So, I kind of got mad and bought it after I made him drop his $80 price tag. I took him home and we have been bringing him back to life. He gets Vitamin and Selcon enriched Spectrum Pellets about 6 times a day (Just a few) and Nori. Last week he started on Tang Heaven algae. I am happy to say that his HLLE is almost gone and he has never looked better.

He told me he would be open on Sundays starting in the fall sometime. I'm still pretty new at salt water but of all the stores in town this is one of the best IMO. He has my support.

Hi there,

Just a quick heads up...

Red Coral has been open on Sundays for the last few weeks now. I know because I frequent the place a bit too often

When I was in the store tonight Freeman (owner) got a call from his supplier and told me that his coral/shrimp shipment had arrived.

Just thought I'd let anyone who was interested know.
