Default Need a good Temp Controller / multi heater combo

I cant get my temp above 74F even with a 250W heater. Without the heater my tank temp maxes out at 69.7F. Can anyone recommend a good inexpensive controller/heater combo for a 230Gal system with a 90Gal sump/fuge? I have never run heaters on any of my older systems and been able to maintain temps of around 78F

For that volume of water 1 x 250W heater definately won't cut it.
You will probably need 2 or 3 of them.

Get a single stage unit Ranco Controller for about $80 on ebay IIRC. They are the same thing as the Aqua Logic Temperature controllers which are actually just re-branded Ranco units.

I run a dual stage (heater & chiller control) unit. Best money I've spent (well, aside from the chiller its hooked up to).

I was going to suggest a Ranco as well.
No experience with it but I knew mr_alberta was happy with his.
I guess he beat me to it..
