The lights are in a double ended 3foot long hood. I hang it from chains over my tank. You can easyly enough mount it in a canopy, there is 2 ballasts and there standard start but in boxes. $200 bucks take home the new bulbs,hood,ballasts,chains. Cheep Cheep, $200 is what the bulbs cost me.
