I had a problem with cyano, and for the love of me I couldn't identify a obvious cause. I tried using that Chemi-clean and it delt with the cyano in no time and I haven't had a problem since (I used it 4 months ago).

a note about using test kits when we are facing outbreaks. The reason why the kit shows all is fine is because the nusiance algae or cyano is using all the nutrients up. Take all the bad stuff out and do the test again the next day. Your more likely to see the problem.
