Normally ranges from 79-82, but I've seen it hit 84+ as the warm summer whether comes on. However, both my tank and sump are covered which causes major heat retention. In the summer I remove the lid from the sump (and have a fan going in the cabinet). Temperature usually doesn't rise above 84. If heat is an issue, and if you haven't already, you should try opening the top and covering it with something like plastic egg crate. The evaporation from the top will dissipate a lot of heat.

My tank hit 29.7C today with 300W of halides on. The past few weeks averaged about 26-27C. I expect it'll hit over 30 one of these days soon even with the lights off.

Normally 74-76, today it hit 81 F. or 29C.

HOLY #$%@#$% have been able to keep mine at80-81 for highs with a big fan on my kitchen table. forgot it this morning and when I got in it was @ 89, fan on high, float some cubes (made with RO water) kill the light.
No ill effect but my bristal star was trying to get out and the fish were circurling the ice with little smile in thier faces, no, I swear, little tiny smiles...

All my tanks hit 84 today, I turned the lights off an hour early . Can't wait for tomorrow

Opening the tanks hood and useing a 4l frozen milk jug is helping alot, tanks temp remains hgh but stable at 83 no signs of stress yet ..
