USPS/Canada post customs

Never and I mean NEVER have anything delivered by UPS from the States ... the brokerage fees are a ripoff

I always ask for USPS for shipping and have yet to be charged a brokerage fee or even GST to this point ( knock on wood

... have some outdoor speakers in transit as we speak

)

It's not just UPS, any courier has outrageous brokerage fees.

Definately use USPS for the $5.00 flat fee when possible, but not all companies will ship USPS, sometimes they only use one carrier, often UPS or Fedex.

Sometimes if you explain to them that is saves you over $50 at the border, they will make an exception.
