Default whos using a Remora Pro

just wondering what you guys think of them, how well do they work, and are they worth the money, or is there something better you would recommend

FYI, great skimmers well worth the money if you have to use a hang-on model.

I'm using a remora pro hang on. Mag pump is a bit noisy, but works well with this skimmer design. The o-ring on the collection cup is not ozone friendly. I find it hard to get dark dry skimmate, so I let it skim light tea color and empty more often. Difficult to clean but I'm pretty happy with it anyway.

I agree with Bill. I dont think i have ever seen dark skimmate come out of mine, mostly a light brown colored, but still stinky. I have mine on a mag 5 with the surface pre skimmer. Surface skimmer is kind of a pain if the water runs below the correct level the pump runs dry, had to run down many times during the nights to fix this. Overall i am pretty happy with it and would recommend it to others!
