Question Anemone & Acropora?

How close do you put your corals to your BTA? Mine has split & is using up valuable areas under the best lighting. The 2 BTA's are about 6" apart, and they do touch when spread out. Can I put an Acro between them?

I generally found that it's best if acros don't even get an occasional touch by a stray wandering anemone tentacle. It's not the same all-out war that you tend to get when two SPS touch, but still I would notice parts that look a little 'burned' where there was occasional contact.

So given that the two anemones occasionally contact, I'd recommend against placement in between. It would be getting in on both sides.

Sorry, probably not what you wanted to hear, but I thought I'd spare you the lesson I had to learn the hard way.

cheers
