I have had a Cardisoma armatum for the past three years. The other day he decided it was time to moult again. This picture was takes shortly after that's why he is so purple.
![]() His carapace is three inches across. I have read they can get up to 6 or 8 inches full size. He's in a 33 gallon tank. Just thought some people would like to see a different crab.

Crabs are creepy! But dang.. that is pretty cool.

It kinda looks like a rock crab is he harmfull like a rock crab?Where did you get him from?
