![]() I was wondering if anyone knew of a good quite fan for inside my cabinet to keep it cool? I took a quick look around HD and couldn't find anything usefull... thanks.

![]() I use 6" electronics fans for evaporative cooling, not so much to cool my lamps. Anyway, I got them at RP Electronics in Burnaby.
If you purchase 230V fans, yet run them at 115V, they are DEAD quiet and still move a reasonable amount of air. You have to get ball bearing models or the 115V won't be enough juice to get the fan started. Check out http://www.rpelectronics.com/ and look for AC Fans in the products directory. |

![]() running 2 icecap fans for my 2x250 w hqi , speed variable based on temp under the hood, and fairly quiet. You do pay for them though. about 60-70 piece. I love em

![]() Vantek stealth are known to be really quiet computer fans. Fans cool best when pointed directly at water. they cool by evaporation more than by wind.

![]() If you're ever up in the NE up by the airport, Princess Auto usually has a vast selection of surplus electronics type fans, 12V, 24V, 110VAC, ... 3", 4", 6", ... lots and lots of stuff and usually pretty cheap.
