Well, I'm sorry you feel that way, and I'm sorry I was rude to you too.
You say you're not reading this anymore, but I'll say it nonetheless. The reason people want to know where you are, is so that they can know whether it's worth their while to send a PM. You don't need to compromise your security by posting your address and phone number or something like that, but it's good to know a locale so that people know if it's something local, or if shipping is involved. I really do wish you the best of luck selling your items.

This is a common problem on this board. When someone with a username that is unknown posts something for sale, I would consider it logical for people to ask for location. Perhaps it would be possible to make it impossible to sign up without including the location.
