WTB: Equipment for 10g qt tank in Edmonton

Hi everyone!
I've got an old 10g tank so I thought I might make it into a qt tank. I was thinking of going out to Big Al's and seeing if I can get a new heater, filter of some sort, and light, but I was wondering if anyone locally may have any of the above equipment they may be willing to sell... or even better give away completely free!

Yeah it will be awesome to have a qt tank! It's a great idea but I find very few people actually do it. I'm sure a small heater and filter and a light for a 10g probably won't be too expensive but... just thought I'd check and see if someone may have something sitting around they may be willing to part with.
