haha, i read that earlier this week and thought to myself there goes the end of the marketing propoganda by the light manufacturers. it was great while it lasted for them, think just how much they expanded market potential by convincing everyone they needed higher and higher K lamps! bottom line, sunlight is 5500-6500k, why would we want 20,000K spectrum aside from the "wow, do your corals ever glow" effect.
